Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.
Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence, and the circa-1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Its 55-acre Government Botanical Garden lies on the slopes of Doddabetta Peak.
Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls.
Day 1: Arrival to Bangalore pick up from Bangalore Airport or Railway Station and transfer to Hotel for fresh-up. Start Bangalore sightseeing – visit Iskcon Temple, Bull Te mple, Tipu Sultan Palace, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Vishveshwarya Technological Museum, Art Gallery, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha (outs side view), MG Road and Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park. Day 2: Bangalore to Mysore 3 to 4 Hours After Breakfast Check out from Hotel & on the way visit Srirangapatna - Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, Tippu's Summer Palace, fort, Nimishamba Temple, Chamundi Hills - Chamundeshwari Temple, Mahishasura and Nandi, Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery, St.Philomena's Church, KRS - Brindavan Gardens musical fountain. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 3: Mysore to Ooty 3 to 4 hours After breakfast, check out hotel. & Proceed for Ooty Bandipur National Forest Cine Shooting Point, Pyakara Lake, Payakara Waterfall, Ooty sightseeing - Rose Garden, Ooty Lake, Botanical Garden,and Ooty lake. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 4: Ooty Coonoor Sightseeing After Breakfast coonoor Sightseeing - Sim’s Park, Lam’s Rock, Dolphin Nose and Back in Ooty visit Tea factory, Tea Museum and Doddabetta Peak. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day5: Ooty to Coorg 6 to 7 hours After Breakfast Proceed for Coorg Visit Talakaveri - birth place of river Cauvery, en route visit Bhagamandala , Merkara Fort ,Bhagandeshwara Temple and Triveni Sangama. Overnight stay at Coorg.
Day 6: Coorg Sightseeing After breakfast, Enjoy Coorg Sightseeing Madikeri visit Abbey Falls, Raja's Tomb and Tibetan Golden Temple and Omkareshwar Temple Overnight stay at Coorg.
Day 7: Coorg to Bangalore Departure After breakfast, proceed Bangalore Airport or Railway Station onward journey.
